Treasure Island is a 14.5 acre (5.87 Ha.) white coral and sand fringed atoll, surrounded by a protected marine reserve. Located in a natural marine park in the Mamanuca Islands, Treasure Island is the closest island resort to Nadi International Airport and prides itself on being eco-friendly. The Resort is an icon to Fiji established in 1972. Unlike most other Island Resorts, Treasure covers the entire island. There is an abundance of marine life and coral growth surrounding the island. There are rare (endangered) banded rails, parrots, white-eyes, honey suckers, herons, iguanas, nesting turtles on the island and geckos.
